Shara Francisco is a designer, media artist, and cultural worker based in Laguna and Manila, Philippines. Influenced by her background in behavioral design, her practice explores the concept of pattern-finding but with a particular focus on the medium; how to visually translate or replicate the senses of the digital to the tactile, and vice versa, through painting (the tactile) and visual programming (the digital). These explorations include live audiovisual collaborations, 3D mapping and projections, multi-sensory and interactive interfaces, and generative visual references.
