Lesley Taker is a freelance Liverpool-based arts producer, curator, writer and digital arts specialist. She is particularly interested in how technology is changing contemporary art practice and discourse, and in artworks which deal with fluid identities, shifting truths, or unstable narratives.

She was most recently the Studio/Lab Manager at FACT, Liverpool where her work focused on artist development, experimentation, and residencies. Previously, she led exhibition teams and programmes with both emerging and established international artists across major installations and events. She has developed new work and presentations with artists such as Shona Illingworth; Cecile B. Evans; Uma Breakdown; Larry Achiampong & David Blandy; Ryoichi Kurokawa; Wu Tsang; Marianna Simnett; and Morehshin Allahyari. Her writing has appeared in several major publications affiliated with FACT, as well as local and national arts press.
